Baxter is Ready to Break Free From the Shelter

Baxter is a precious 8 month old mixed breed puppy who was sadly found as a stray in rural Virginia. This sweet boy is so lucky to be alive. Stray dogs risk dehydration and starvation daily, not to mention all the dangers of other animals and cars. Thankfully, Baxter was found and brought to the shelter. Now, this little pup just wants day in and day out for someone to want to adopt him. Sadly, not a single potential adopter has shown interest. The shelter staff are so confused, as he is a perfect pup! Homeward Trails doesn't want Baxter to spend one more day getting passed by.
