Recently, our community established the position of a Community Assistance Liaison. This person serves as a bridge to help newcomers integrate seamlessly into our community and become active members of Lexington. 

The Community Liaison Helping Fund, managed by the Lexington Community Assistance Liaison in partnership with the Lexington Community Foundation, is dedicated to assisting families in emergency situations and serves as a crucial lifeline during times of crisis. This financial reserve provides essential support to cover urgent needs such as rent, utilities, medical expenses, and food when no other option is available. By offering immediate relief, these funds help families navigate unexpected hardships, ensuring they can maintain stability and dignity while they work towards long-term solutions.
