Cozad Hospital Foundation

Cozad Hospital Foundation was established in April 1981 for the purpose of supporting local healthcare and Cozad Community Health System. The Cozad Hospital Foundation plays an integral role in providing funds to Cozad Community Health System for medical equipment, capital improvements and the recruitment of healthcare providers throughout the Cozad area.

Our goal is to purchase a cystoscope for our surgical department. This essential equipment will enable us to perform critical procedures, such as examining the bladder, detecting blockages or stones, and diagnosing conditions like infections or tumors. With this addition, patients can receive specialized surgical care close to home.

We are proud to now have Dr. Brown, a skilled urologist from Great Plains Health Center in North Platte, visiting our Specialty Clinic every second Thursday of the month. Your support of this fundraiser will help ensure Dr. Brown can perform these essential urology services in Cozad, providing our community with access to the care it needs, close to home. Together, we can make a big difference in local healthcare!

The Cozad Hospital Foundation has made a profound impact on our community by partnering on significant projects like the Community Wellness Center, Central Plains Home Health & Hospice, initiatives for recruiting and retaining health system employees, and a walking track at Meadowlark Pointe and the new Softball Complex.

With your ongoing support, the Foundation will further elevate the quality and scope of healthcare available to our residents. Your support is vital in helping us continue to serve our community with quality, compassionate, patient-centered health and wellness services.
