Lexington Racquet Center
The newly opened Lexington Racquet Center (southwest corner of Plum Creek Park) provides tennis and pickleball opportunities for the community at no charge for court time, and no membership requirement. Several years in the making, the Lexington Tennis Association and the City of Lexington teamed up to bring this dream to reality after studies showed there are annually more than 700 racquet sports encounters from Pre-K to Adults in Lexington.
There are still some final touches to add, such as landscaping. We are asking for your help this year with additional accessories such as:
- nets and balls for both pickleball and tennis
- padding all around the facility
- ball carts
- pickleball machine parts and repairs
- youth tennis racquets for instruction programming
- court resurfacing in future years
- and more!
With your Give BIG Lexington help, we can continue operating this beautiful new venue year-round for years to come!
