Nothing beats live theater. It takes you away to places and times you may have only dreamed about.

Plum Creek Community Players (PCCP) was organized in 1998 with the goal of providing an opportunity for local and area residents of all ages to showcase their talents on stage.

This group of live theater enthusiasts is committed to promoting and preserving the joy of a live theater experience. During 2024, through the generous donations from Give BIG PCCP was able to bring the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “The Princess and the Pea” to Lexington at no cost to area youth. MCT appearances are scheduled every other year so the next opportunity will be in 2026 and PCCP encourages donors to consider using Give BIG to help defray the $3,500 price tag needed to bring Missoula to town.

This year, in conjunction with Lexington’s 150th anniversary celebration, PCCP was also able to perform a melodrama, “The Paper Bag Bandit Rides Again.” We gained quite a few new actors and actresses and their enthusiasm for the craft has reenergized the group.

Not only do we have some new board members we are now looking forward to another production sometime this winter. PCCP is always looking for new theater lovers to join as potential cast and crew, so don’t hesitate to reach out to join in the fun!
